BACK TO TABLE OF CONTENTS

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh mussels, cleaned and debearde

  • 1 cup Manny’s Ultimate Bloody Mary

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • ½ cup white wine

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

MUSSEL STEW

Directions

  1. Clean the mussels thoroughly under cold running water, discarding any with cracked shells.

  2. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Pour in white wine and Manny’s Ultimate Bloody Mary. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. Add mussels to the pot and cover with a lid.

  5. Cook for 5–7 minutes, shaking the pot occasionally,until most shells have opened.

  6. Remove from heat and discard any mussels that remain closed.

  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.

  8. Serve with crusty bread for dipping into the flavorful broth.
